Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE]

These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY NAME] ("we", "us"), [ADDRESS], about your use of BrawlChem. By playing, you agree to them.

1. Who can play

  • Everyone playing must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher).

2. What BrawlChem is

BrawlChem is a free party game. Players make picks, an AI combines them into fighters, and an AI referee with an AI-generated voice picks a winner. BrawlChem may switch to a simpler non-AI "quick mode" when usage limits are reached.

3. AI rulings are entertainment, not fact

  • Everything the referee and judge say is generated by AI for fun.
  • It may be inaccurate, inconsistent, strange or unfair. Don't rely on it for anything.
  • AI output isn't reviewed by a person before you see it. Automated filters can miss things. If you see something harmful, please use Report.

4. Your themes, picks and names

You choose the themes, picks and names, and you're responsible for them. Don't enter or use BrawlChem to create anything that:

  • is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, graphically violent, or encourages self-harm or dangerous challenges;
  • names or targets a real person;
  • includes personal information (yours or anyone else's);
  • infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights, or suggests a brand or franchise endorses BrawlChem;
  • is illegal, or encourages illegal or dangerous activity.

We may block, filter or remove themes, picks, names or replays at any time, including at a rights holder's request.

About franchises and brands: a theme based on a film, game, show or brand produces unofficial fan play. BrawlChem isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any rights holder. All third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

5. Acceptable use

Don't:

  • get around limits, caps, bot checks or filters;
  • use bots or scripts;
  • use BrawlChem as free access to the underlying AI;
  • try to extract our prompts;
  • reverse-engineer or overload the Service;
  • forge replay links;
  • break the law or our AI providers' usage policies.

We may limit, suspend or block access if you do.

6. Sharing and replays

  • Share cards, videos and replay links contain the match's picks and results, and the players' names only if you turn on "Show our names on the share" (otherwise "Player 1" and "Player 2"). Anyone with the link can see what's on it.
  • Shared content is labelled as AI-generated; don't remove that label.

7. Ownership and licence

  • BrawlChem's software, design, name and logo belong to [COMPANY NAME] or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-commercial, revocable licence to play.
  • You may share your match results for non-commercial purposes, subject to third-party rights.
  • Third-party components are used under their own licences (see Credits).
  • Use Report on any replay, or email [CONTACT EMAIL].
  • DMCA and trademark notices go to [DMCA AGENT NAME], [ADDRESS], [DMCA EMAIL].
  • A notice should include:
    1. your signature;
    2. the work you say is infringed;
    3. the material and its location;
    4. your contact details;
    5. a good-faith statement that the use isn't authorised;
    6. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you're authorised to act for the owner.

9. Disclaimers

BrawlChem is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties. Speech recognition is provided by your browser's maker, not by us.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to [USD $50]. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law. EU and UK consumers keep their mandatory rights.

11. Changes and ending

We may change or stop BrawlChem, or these terms. We'll show a notice for significant changes. You can stop at any time; "Clear my data" removes what's stored on your device.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and disputes go to the courts of [VENUE]. If you're a consumer, you may also bring claims where you live, and your local protections still apply.

13. General

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Credits make up the whole agreement.
